THE MINISTER OF AGRICULTURE AND RURAL DEVELOPMENT

Pursuant to the Regulation on the management of plant protection chemicals issued together with Decree No. 92/CP dated November 27, 1993 of the Government guiding the implementation of the Ordinance on Plant Protection and Quarantine;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government stipulating the division of responsibilities for state management of product quality;

Pursuant to Decree No. 73/CP dated November 1, 1995 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;

At the proposal of the Directors of the Plant Protection Department and the Director of the Science, Technology and Product Quality Department.

Article 1. Now hereby promulgates with this Decision the temporary regulations on the procedures for state quality inspection of imported and exported plant protection chemicals.

Article 2. These regulations shall take effect from the date of signature. All previous regulations that conflict with these regulations are abolished.

Article 3. State quality inspection agencies for imported and exported plant protection chemicals, relevant agencies, and organizations and individuals engaged in the import and export of plant protection chemicals in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision.
