Regarding the release of national reserve rice to support Nghe An Province

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province (document number 837/UBND-TM dated February 18, 2008), the opinion of the Ministry of Finance (document number 2564/BTC-DTQG dated March 6, 2008), and the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs (document number 650/LĐTBXH-BTXH dated March 3, 2008),
DECISION:
Article 1.
1. To release (without charge) 5,000 tons of rice from the national reserve to support Nghe An Province for famine relief.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province shall be responsible for managing and allocating the supported rice according to regulations and to the correct beneficiaries.
2. The Ministry of Finance shall coordinate with the People's Committee of Nghe An Province to implement this.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Ministers of Finance, Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs, Planning and Investment, Agriculture and Rural Development; the Head of the Central Steering Committee for Flood and Storm Control; and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province shall be responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
