DECISION
Regarding adjustment and supplementation of regional allowances

THE MINISTER OF LABOR, WAR INVALIDS AND SOCIAL AFFAIRS
On the basis of Decree No. 96/CP dated December 7, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs;
On the basis of Decree No. 25/CP, Decree No. 26/CP dated May 23, 1993 of the Government temporarily stipulating the new salary system for civil servants, administrative and public service officials, armed forces, and enterprises, and Circular No. 03/2001/TTLT-BLĐTBXH-BTC-UBDTMN dated January 18, 2001 of the Joint Circular of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs - Ministry of Finance - State Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas guiding the implementation of regional allowances;
Considering the proposals of the People's Committees of the provinces and centrally governed cities;
After receiving the unified opinion of the Ministry of Finance in Document No. 1226/TC/CSTC dated December 20, 2001, the opinion of the State Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas in Document No. 1047/UBDTMN-TCCB dated December 31, 2001, and the opinion of the Civil Service Personnel Department of the Government in Document No. 256/BTCCBCP-TL dated December 31, 2001,
DECISION:
Article 1. Now amends and supplements the regional allowance levels in the following areas:
1. Tuyen Quang Province:
- Level 0.2: Son Duong Town, Son Duong District.
2. Vinh Phuc Province:
- Level 0.1: Lap Thach Town, Lap Thach District.
3. Ha Tinh Province:
- Level 0.1: Nong Trai Thach Ngoc Town, Thach Ha District.
4. Quang Nam Province:
- Level 0.1: Ga Ri Commune, A Nong Commune, Hiep Duc District.
- Level 0.2: Tan Hiep Commune, Hoi An City.
5. Dak Lak Province:
- Level 0.4: Tan Hoa Commune, Buon Don District;
- Level 0.5: Dak Mil Commune, Cu Lu District;
- Level 0.7: Cua Knia Commune, Cu Lu District;
6. Ninh Thuan Province:
- Level 0.1: Luong Son Commune, Ninh Son District
7. Phu Yen Province:
- Level 0.2: Suoi Bac Commune, Son Hoa District.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from January 1, 2002. Any previous regulations that conflict with this Decision shall be abolished.
The calculation method for regional allowances is stipulated in Circular No. 03/2001/TTLT-BLĐTBXH-BTC-UBDTMN dated January 18, 2001 of the Joint Circular of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs - Ministry of Finance - State Committee for Ethnic Minorities and Mountainous Areas guiding the implementation of regional allowances;
Article 3. It is requested that the People's Committees of the provinces specified in Article 1 guide units within their jurisdiction to implement this Decision./.
