DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Issuing the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Social Science Fields
at the Bachelor's Degree Level
MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to the Minutes of the Review Board for the Development of the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Social Science Fields;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies,
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached hereto with this Decision is the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Social Science Fields at the Bachelor's Degree Level, including ten framework curricula (for ten fields) as follows:
1. Journalism field, Bachelor's Degree level;
2. Political Science field, Bachelor's Degree level;
3. Human Geography field, Bachelor's Degree level;
4. Public Administration field, Bachelor's Degree level;
5. Political Economy field, Bachelor's Degree level;
6. Law field, Bachelor's Degree level;
7. International Relations field, Bachelor's Degree level;
8. Psychology field, Bachelor's Degree level;
9. Sociology field, Bachelor's Degree level;
10. Party and State Administration Construction field, Bachelor's Degree level.
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The framework curriculum attached hereto shall be used in universities, academies, and colleges responsible for training the above ten fields at the Bachelor's Degree level.
Article 3. The Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies shall be responsible for guiding the rectors of universities and academies and the principals of colleges in developing specific school curricula, organizing the compilation and approval of common textbooks in accordance with regulations.
Article 4. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Department of Universities and Graduate Studies, the Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, the rectors of universities and academies, and the principals of colleges are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
