DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the approval of the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned forest farms under the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province

PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approve the Scheme for the reorganization and modernization of state-owned forest farms under the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province as follows:
1. Convert the following forest farms into forestry companies:
- Di Linh Forest Farm;
- Don Duong Forest Farm;
- Bao Thuan Forest Farm;
- Tam Hiep Forest Farm;
- Da Hoai Forest Farm;
- Bao Lam Forest Farm;
- Loc Bac Forest Farm;
- Da Te Forest Farm.
2. Transform Duc Trong Forest Farm into a Forest Protection Management Board.
Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province:
1. Direct the implementation of the reorganization and modernization of state-owned forest farms as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Issue a decision to adjust the area and boundaries of various types of land allocated to forestry companies and forest management boards in accordance with the local forestry development plan and the development plan of each forest farm.
3. Review the area of forests belonging to forestry companies, separate out areas of concentrated protective forests over 5,000 hectares to establish a Forest Protection Management Board if they meet the conditions specified in the Law on Protection and Development of Forests.
Article 3. Ministries: Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, Natural Resources and Environment, and related ministries shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province in implementing this Scheme.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province and heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
