Regarding the approval of the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned forest enterprises under the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 200/2004/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2004 of the Government on the reorganization, modernization, and development of state-owned forest enterprises;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province,
DECISION:
Article 1. Approve the restructuring and modernization plan for state-owned forest enterprises under the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province as follows:
1. Reorganize the Phong Tho Forest Enterprise into the Lai Chau Forestry Company and the Phong Tho Protective Forest Management Board.
2. Transform the Lai Chau Special Forest Products Company into the Hoang Lien Son Protective Forest Management Board.
Article 2. Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province:
1. Direct the implementation of the restructuring and modernization of state-owned forest enterprises as stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision.
2. Adjust the area and boundaries of land allocated to the Protective Forest Management Boards and the Lai Chau Forestry Company in accordance with the local forestry development plan and relevant laws on land, protection, and development of forests.
Article 3. Ministries: Agriculture and Rural Development, Finance, Planning and Investment, Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs, Home Affairs, and related ministries shall cooperate with the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province in implementing this Plan.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development shall be responsible for monitoring the implementation of this Decision.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lai Chau Province and heads of relevant agencies are responsible for enforcing this Decision./.
