ISSUING TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR SIGNALS ON DOMESTIC WATERBORNE VESSELS

THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
BASED ON THE INLAND WATERWAY TRAFFIC LAW dated June 15, 2004;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated December 5, 2002 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM INLAND WATERWAYS AGENCY,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR SIGNALS ON DOMESTIC WATERBORNE VESSELS.
Article 2. THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM INLAND WATERWAYS AGENCY SHALL IMPLEMENT THIS DECISION.
Article 3. THIS DECISION SHALL TAKE EFFECT 15 DAYS AFTER ITS PUBLICATION IN THE OFFICIAL GAZETTE.
Article 4. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY’S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM INLAND WATERWAYS AGENCY, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM MARINE REGISTRY, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE, THE HEADS OF THE RELEVANT AUTHORITIES, UNITS, AND INDIVIDUALS SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
