DECISION
REGARDING THE ASSIGNMENT OF THE MAIN CONTACT FOR ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TASKS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH

THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
WHEREAS, Law on Environmental Protection No. 34/2005/QH11 dated June 14, 2005;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
WHEREAS, Decree No. 81/2007/NĐ-CP dated May 23, 2007 of the Government organizing specialized units for environmental protection at state agencies and state-owned enterprises;
AT THE SUGGESTION OF THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HYGIENE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE BUREAU OF ORGANIZATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES - MINISTRY OF HEALTH.
DECISION:
Article 1. THE VIETNAM NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HYGIENE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY IS ASSIGNED TO SERVE AS THE MAIN CONTACT TO ASSIST THE MINISTER OF HEALTH IN PERFORMING THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TASKS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH.
Article 2. THE VIETNAM NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HYGIENE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ARRANGING ITS ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE TO IMPLEMENT THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION TASKS OF THE MINISTRY OF HEALTH IN ACCORDANCE WITH CURRENT LEGAL DOCUMENTS.
Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 4. MR./MS.: DIRECTOR OF THE OFFICE, DIRECTOR OF THE BUREAU OF ORGANIZATION AND HUMAN RESOURCES, DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF HYGIENE AND EPIDEMIOLOGY - MINISTRY OF HEALTH, HEADS OF DEPARTMENTS AND DIRECTORS OF AGENCIES AND UNITS RELATED ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION.
