CIRCULAR
Amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. 57/2018/TT-BCT dated December 26, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing certain provisions of Decrees related to tobacco business
Pursuant to Decree No. 98/2017/NĐ-CP dated August 18, 2017, of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to Decree No. 67/2013/NĐ-CP dated June 27, 2013 of the Government detailing certain provisions and measures for implementing the Law on Prevention and Control of Harmful Effects of Tobacco concerning tobacco business and Decree No. 106/2017/NĐ-CP dated September 14, 2017 amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 67/2013/NĐ-CP dated June 27, 2013 of the Government;
Pursuant to Decree No. 08/2018/NĐ-CP dated January 15, 2018, issued by the Government, amending certain Decrees related to investment conditions within the scope of management by the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
Pursuant to Decree No. 17/2020/NĐ-CP dated February 5, 2020 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decrees related to investment conditions in the tobacco business sector under the management of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;
At the proposal of the Director of the Industry Department,
The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular amending and supplementing certain Articles of Circular No. 57/2018/TT-BCT dated December 26, 2018 detailing certain provisions of Decrees related to tobacco business as follows:
Article 1. Amend Clause 2 and Clause 4 of Article 22 of Circular No. 57/2018/TT-BCT dated December 26, 2018 of the Minister of Industry and Trade detailing certain provisions of Decrees related to tobacco business as follows:
"2. The forms and lists for requesting a Production License for tobacco products and the model of the Production License for tobacco products prescribed in this Circular shall take effect from January 1, 2028.
4. The forms and lists for requesting a Production License for tobacco products and the model of the Production License for tobacco products prescribed in Circular No. 21/2013/TT-BCT shall continue to be applied until December 31, 2027."
Article 2. Effective Date
1. This Circular takes effect from December 20, 2022.
2. Repeal Circular No. 53/2020/TT-BCT dated December 31, 2020 of the Minister of Industry and Trade amending and supplementing certain provisions of Circular No. 57/2018/TT-BCT dated December 26, 2018 detailing certain provisions of Decrees related to tobacco business from the date this Circular takes effect.
