This Decision allows the application of 12 rapid chemical contamination detection tests in food produced in Thailand, including the determination of sulfites, hypochlorites, acid index, rancidity of fats, inorganic acids, formaldehyde, salicylic acid, sodium metabisulfite, acetic acid, dyes, borax, and residues of carbamate and phosphate pesticides.

Vietnamese health authorities, including the Director of the Office, the Heads of the Department of Science and Training, the Department of Legal Affairs, the Director of the Food Safety Agency, the Directors of Health Departments of provinces/cities under central jurisdiction, and the Heads of units under the Ministry of Health, must be responsible for implementing this Decision.

Pursuant to Decision No. 1613/BYT-QD dated 15/05/2003 Considering the evaluation opinions on rapid food safety testing methods from the Central Province/City Preventive Medical Centers and the proposal of the Evaluation Council for rapid food safety testing kits produced in Thailand at the meeting held on August 4, 2004;
Based on Decree No. 86/CP dated 8/12/1995 of the Government on the division of responsibilities for managing the quality of goods;
At the proposal of: The Director of the Science and Training Department, The Director of the Legal Affairs Department, The Director of the Food Safety and Hygiene Control Bureau - Ministry of Health,
Permission is granted to apply 12 rapid food chemical contamination detection tests produced in Thailand (
DECIDES:
Article 1. List attached to this DecisionAbolish Decision No. 1928/2003/QĐ-BYT dated)
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 3. and Decision No. 4527/2003/QĐ-BYT dated 06/6/2003 of the Minister of Health. 27/8/2003 The Heads of: The Office Director, The Science and Training Department Director, The Legal Affairs Department Director, The Food Safety and Hygiene Control Bureau Director, The Provincial Health Departments under central cities and provinces, and the Heads of units directly under the Ministry of Health, and the Health Heads of relevant sectors are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
