THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
BASED ON THE INLAND WATERWAY TRAFFIC LAW dated June 15, 2004;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 34/2003/NĐ-CP dated April 4, 2003 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
AT THE PROPOSAL OF THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT AND THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM RIVERWAYS CORPORATION,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE THE "TECHNICAL STANDARDS FOR INLAND WATERWAY PORTS AND INLAND WATERWAY WHARVES".
Article 2. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 3. THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM RIVERWAYS CORPORATION SHALL OVERSEE THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THESE STANDARDS ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
Article 4. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S INSPECTION DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE LEGAL AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT, THE HEAD OF THE TRANSPORTATION DEPARTMENT, THE DIRECTOR OF THE VIETNAM RIVERWAYS CORPORATION, THE DIRECTOR OF THE QUALITY CONTROL AND ENGINEERING SURVEY CORPORATION, THE DIRECTORS OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF TRANSPORTATION AND TRANSPORTATION INFRASTRUCTURE, THE HEADS OF THE AGENCIES, ORGANIZATIONS, AND INDIVIDUALS CONCERNED SHALL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR ENFORCING THIS DECISION./.
