CIRCULAR

ISSUING THE LIST OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND GOODS THAT MUST BE ANNOUNCED AS COMPLIANT

PURSUANT TO DECREE NO. 187/2007/NĐ-CP OF DECEMBER 25, 2007 OF THE GOVERNMENT ON THE FUNCTIONS, TASKS, POWERS, AND ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE OF THE MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION, AMENDED AND COMPLEMENTED BY DECREE NO. 50/2011/NĐ-CP OF JUNE 24, 2011;

MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATIONS

Pursuant to the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;

WHEREAS, the Law on Radio Frequency Spectrum dated November 23, 2009;

Pursuant to the Law on Product Quality and Commodities dated November 21, 2007;

Pursuant to Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing implementation of certain provisions of the Product Quality Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 25/2011/NĐ-CP dated April 6, 2011, issued by the Government, detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Telecommunications;

ISSUED HERETOGETHER WITH THIS CIRCULAR IS THE "LIST OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS AND GOODS THAT MUST BE ANNOUNCED AS COMPLIANT."

At the proposal of the Director of the Telecommunications Administration,

c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B

Article 1. THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM JANUARY 1, 2012 AND REPLACE CIRCULAR NO. 08/2009/TT-BTTTT OF MARCH 24, 2009 ISSUED BY THE MINISTER OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION ON THE "LIST OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION TECHNOLOGY PRODUCTS THAT MUST BE ANNOUNCED AS COMPLIANT."

Article 2. THE HEAD OF THE MINISTRY'S OFFICE, DIRECTOR OF THE TELECOMMUNICATIONS AGENCY, HEADS OF MINISTRY OF INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION'S ORGANIZATIONS AND UNITS, DIRECTORS OF PROVINCE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION BOARDS, AND RELEVANT ORGANIZATIONS AND INDIVIDUALS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR./.

Article 3. The Head of the Office, the Director of the Telecommunications Department, the Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Information and Communications, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Information and Communications, and relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
