Pursuant to Decree No. 96/CP dated December 7, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
Pursuant to Decision No. 27/2001/QĐ-TTg dated March 8, 2001 of the Prime Minister on annual labor force surveys (for the period 2001-2005);
Pursuant to Circular No. 159/TCTK-DSLĐ dated March 23, 2001 of the General Statistics Office; Circular No. 2911/BTC-TCCB dated April 2, 2001 of the Ministry of Finance; and Circular No. 1808/BKH-TCCB dated March 30, 2001 of the Ministry of Planning and Investment regarding the dispatch of officials to participate in the Steering Committee for Labor Force Surveys; Finance and Circular No. 1808/BKH-TCCB dated March 30, 2001, of the Ministry of Planning and Investment regarding the dispatch of officials This Decision takes effect from the date of issuance and shall be terminated upon completion of its tasks. Article 1. Regular members:

Comrade Tran Huu Trung, Head of the National Target Program Office for Poverty Reduction and Employment, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;
Comrade Nguyen Van Phai, Deputy Director of the Population and Labor Statistics Department, General Statistics Office;
Comrade Nguyen Dai Dong, Director of the Labor Policy Department, Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs;

The Central Steering Committee shall be responsible for organizing and directing the implementation of the entire labor force survey in 2002 according to the approved plan.
The National Target Program Office for Poverty Reduction and Employment, the Labor and Social Information and Statistics Center shall coordinate with the Population and Labor Department of the General Statistics Office to organize and implement the labor force survey according to the directives of the Central Steering Committee.
Article 2. The provincial steering committee for labor force surveys shall be established by the Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally-administered city. The membership of the steering committee includes: the Vice-Chairman of the People's Committee of the province or centrally-administered city as Chairperson and two members (one leader from the Provincial Department of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs, and one leader from the Provincial Statistics Bureau).
Article 3. The provincial steering committee shall be responsible for directing and organizing the implementation of the survey at the local level according to the plan prescribed by the Central Steering Committee.
Article 4. The funding for the survey will be drawn from the budget of the National Target Program for Poverty Reduction and Employment and will be announced by the Central Steering Committee to the localities.
This decision takes effect from the date of issuance and shall be dissolved upon completion of its mission.
Article 5. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Cadre Organization and Training Department, the Director of the Accounting and Finance Department, and the organizations and individuals named in Article 1, Article 3, and Article 4 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
Article 6. The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Personnel and Training Department, the Director of the Accounting and Finance Department, and the organizations and individuals named in Article 1, Article 3, and Article 4 are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
