DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the establishment of Hanoi University of Industry
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to the Education Law dated December 2, 1998;
Pursuant to Decree No. 43/2000/NĐ-CP dated August 30, 2000 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;
Pursuant to Decision No. 47/2001/QĐ-TTg dated April 4, 2001 approving the planning of the network of universities and colleges for the period 2001-2010;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Education and Training at the report No. 3887/TCCB dated May 16, 2005 regarding the establishment of Hanoi University of Industry based on upgrading Hanoi College of Industry;
DECISION:
Article 1. Establish Hanoi University of Industry based on upgrading Hanoi College of Industry.
Article 2. Hanoi University of Industry is a higher education institution under the Ministry of Industry, subject to the state management of education by the Ministry of Education and Training; the university has its own legal personality, seal, and separate account.
Article 3. Hanoi University of Industry operates in accordance with the Charter of Universities issued together with Decision No. 153/2003/QĐ-TTg dated July 30, 2003 of the Prime Minister.
Article 4. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.
Article 5. The Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government agencies, Chairmen of provincial People's Committees under the central government are responsible for implementing this Decision.
