THE MINISTER OF TRANSPORTATION
Pursuant to Article 14 of the Quality Goods Decree issued under Decision No. 49-LTC/HĐNN dated January 2, 1991 by the Chairman of the State Council;
Pursuant to Decree No. 22/CP dated March 22, 1994 of the Government on the tasks, powers, responsibilities for state management and organizational structure of the Ministry of Transport;
Pursuant to Clause 1, Article 11 and Clause 3, Article 17 of the Regulations promulgated together with Decree No. 36/CP dated May 29, 1995 of the Government on ensuring traffic order and safety on roads and urban traffic order and safety;
To implement Circular No. 522/1999/TT-BGTVT dated October 20, 1999 of the Minister of Transport guiding registration, issuance of license plates, and technical safety inspection of various types of construction vehicles and machinery;
At the proposal of the Heads of the Science and Technology Department, the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Bureau Director, and the Legal Transportation Department Head.
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this decision is the temporary standard:
"Technical Safety Standards and Environmental Protection for Various Types of Construction Vehicles and Machinery on Roads"
Article 2. This standard shall be applied from January 1, 2000 for the purpose of conducting technical safety inspections of construction vehicles and machinery when operating and moving on roads.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, Heads of the Departments of Science and Technology, Legal Transportation, Directors of the Vietnam Vehicle Inspection Bureau, Vietnam Road Bureau, Directors of the Departments of Transport and Public Works of the Provinces and Cities directly under the Central Government, and Heads of related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
