DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
ON THE ADOPTION OF INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR LEATHER AND FOOTWEAR
THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY
WHEREAS, Decree No. 55/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 28, 2003 of the Government stipulates the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;
Pursuant to the Ordinance on Product Quality dated December 24, 1999;
WHEREAS, Decision No. 2264/1999/QĐ-BKHCN&MT dated December 30, 1999 of the Ministry of Science, Technology, and Environment (now the Ministry of Science and Technology) on the issuance of standards;
At the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,
DECISION:
Article 1. ATTACHED TO THIS DECISION ARE TWO INDUSTRY STANDARDS FOR LEATHER AND FOOTWEAR WITH THE FOLLOWING DESIGNATIONS:
1. FOOTWEAR - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND TESTING METHODS: 24 TCN 01 : 2005.
2. SAFETY HAT LEATHER - TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS AND TESTING METHODS: 24 TCN 02 : 2005.
THESE STANDARDS ARE ENCOURAGED TO BE APPLIED BY RESEARCH INSTITUTIONS, TRAINING ESTABLISHMENTS, AND ENTERPRISES ENGAGED IN THE PRODUCTION AND DISTRIBUTION OF LEATHER AND FOOTWEAR ACROSS THE COUNTRY.
12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentThis Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.
THE DIRECTOR OF THE SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY DEPARTMENT IS RESPONSIBLE FOR GUIDING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF THIS DECISION.
