DECREE OF THE GOVERNMENT

Approve the number and list of electoral units

and the number of representatives to be elected in each representative electoral unit

of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council for the 2004-2009 term

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to Article 9, Article 10, and Article 11 of the Law on Elections of Members of People's Councils dated November 26, 2003;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 429/2003/NQ-UBTVQH of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly dated December 23, 2003 on fixing the date of elections of members of People's Councils at all levels for the 2004-2009 term;

At the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province and the Minister of Home Affairs,

DECREE:

Article 1. Approve the number of 20 (twenty) electoral units, 85 (eighty-five) members of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council and the number of representatives to be elected in each representative electoral unit of the Dak Lak Provincial People's Council for the 2004-2009 term (attached list);

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Council, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Dak Lak Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Minister, Head of the Government Office shall be responsible for implementing this Decree./.
