DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

Regarding the regulation of charges for CDMA technology-based intra-provincial telephone services for mobile terminals provided by Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation terminal is mobile and provided by Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation

Pursuant to Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;

Pursuant to Decision No. 217/2003/QĐ-TTg dated October 27, 2003 of the Prime Minister on the management of pricing for postal and telecommunications services;

Considering the proposal of Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation at Circular No. 815/GCTT dated February 8, 2005, and Circular No. 2258/GCTT dated April 25, 2005 on the rates of CDMA technology-based WLL-CDMA telephone service charges;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Planning and Finance,

DECISION:

Article 1. Direct Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation to regulate charges for CDMA technology-based intra-provincial telephone services for mobile terminals provided by Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation in three provinces of Hai Duong, Nghe An, Da Nang under the following conditions:

- Connection charge: not less than 455 dong per minute.

- Unit of charge calculation: not less than 6-second block.

Article 2. The service charge set by the enterprise must be based on cost, ensure competition according to the law, and comply with state regulations on price management.

Article 3. Prior to promulgating the service charge, the enterprise must register with the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications in accordance with the regulations.

Article 4. The charges stipulated in Article 1 of this Decision do not include value-added tax.

Article 5. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.

Article 6. The Head of the Office, Heads of the Planning and Finance Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, Vietnam Post and Telecommunications Corporation, and related units are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
