Regarding the establishment of the Technology Development and Television Company 

MINISTER OF THE MINISTRY OF CULTURE, SPORTS AND TOURISM

Pursuant to Decree No. 81/CP dated November 8, 1993 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 07/NQ-BCS dated December 2, 2002 of the Party Cadre and Civil Servants Committee of the Ministry of Culture and Information;

These regulations are hereby promulgated along with this Decision "Regulations on the Transfer, Rotation, and Temporary Assignment of Officials and Civil Servants of the Government Inspectorate."

DECISION:

Article 1: Establish the Technology and Television Development Company based on the reorganization and restructuring of the following units:

- The Printing and Advertising Model Company.

- The Film and Television Technology Center under the Import-Export Materials - Film and Video Company.

The Technology and Television Development Company is a state-owned enterprise operating independently under the Ministry of Culture and Information, having its own seal and bank account.

The Technology Development and Television Company has its headquarters at No. 31 Nguyen Chi Thanh Street, Hanoi.

Article 2: The organizational structure of the Technology and Television Development Company includes:

- General Director of the Company

- Deputy General Directors

- Departments: General Affairs, Planning and Finance, Technical Management, Business Import-Export

- Centers, Workshops:

+ Film and Television Technology Center

+ Model Creation, Printing, and Advertising Center.

+ Technology Equipment Testing Center.

+ Tekcast Production and Business Printing Enterprise.

- Branch of the Technology and Television Development Company in Ho Chi Minh City.

Article 3: The Technology and Television Development Company has the following tasks:

1. Business Import-Export:

- Cultural materials, film; radio, television, electronics, sound, light, machinery, optics, telecommunications, electrical equipment, refrigeration equipment.

- Security testing equipment, measuring, experimental equipment, various types of generators, radio and television transmission systems, antennas, antenna towers.

- Equipment and materials for the printing industry, other equipment serving the culture and information sector.

2. Production:

- Model making, printing, advertising, printing of publications, other printed materials.

- Radio and television equipment; construction and installation of studios and auxiliary equipment.

3. Consulting design, technology transfer, technical services, installation and warranty of equipment permitted for business.

Article 4: Direct the Organization and Cadre Affairs Department, the Planning Department, the Finance and Accounting Department to guide the financial handover, asset transfer, and organization for the Technology and Television Development Company; the Director of the Technology and Television Development Company is responsible for managing finances, assets, and personnel upon receiving the handover in accordance with the provisions of the law.

Article 5: The Director of the Technology and Television Development Company is responsible for organizing, arranging personnel, and drafting the charter on the organization and operation of the company to be submitted to the Minister of Culture and Information for approval.

Article 6: This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature.

Article 7: The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Heads of the Organization and Cadre Affairs Department, the Planning Department, the Finance and Accounting Department, the Heads of related units, and the Director of the Technology and Television Development Company are responsible for implementing this decision.
