THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION

On the basis of the Cultural Heritage Law and Decree No. 92/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Cultural Heritage Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;

Pursuant to the Memorandum No. 491/TTr-UBND dated April 15, 2005, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lào Cai Province and the dossier of the heritage site;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Heritage Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Classification of national monuments:

SCENIC SPOT HÀM RỒNG MOUNTAIN SAPA MARKET TOWN, SAPA DISTRICT, LÀO CAI PROVINCE

Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the heritage sites classified under Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management over the scenic area of Hamlong Mountain within their respective duties and powers as prescribed by laws on cultural heritage.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Director of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Management Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Lào Cai Province, the Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Lào Cai Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
