DECISION OF THE PRIME MINISTER
Regarding the reorganization and restructuring of subordinate public service units under the Ministry of Culture and Information
under the Ministry of Culture - Sports and Tourism
PRIME MINISTER
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
Considering the proposal of the Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Minister of Home Affairs,
DECISION:
Article 1. Reorganize the subordinate public service units under the Ministry of Culture and Information according to the list below:
1. Colleges and Secondary Schools:
- Vietnam Northern College of Arts and Culture.
- Northwest Vietnam College of Arts and Culture.
- Ho Chi Minh City College of Stage and Cinema.
- Dong Nai College of Decorative Arts.
- Vietnam Dance College.
- Vietnam Circus Secondary School.
- Ho Chi Minh City Dance Secondary School.
- Printing Technology Secondary School.
- Cultural and Information Management Cadre College.
2. Art Units:
- Central Tuong Theatre.
- Central Reformed Opera Theatre.
- Vietnam Cheo Theatre.
- Central Puppet Theatre.
- Vietnam Song, Dance, Music Theatre.
- Vietnam Music, Dance, Drama Theatre.
- Vietnam Drama Theatre.
- Youth Theatre.
- Vietnam Symphony Orchestra.
- Central Light Music, Dance, Song Theatre.
- Vietnam Northern Folk Song, Dance, Music Theatre.
- Vietnam Circus Federation.
- National Theatre Management Board in Hanoi.
3. Other Public Service Units:
- Film and Theatre Magazine.
- Vietnam Film Technical Center.
- National Film Screening Center.
- Vietnam Cultural and Information Center in Laos.
The Minister of Culture and Information shall specify the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the units listed in Article 1 of this Decision.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. All previous regulations contrary to this Decision are hereby abolished.
Article 3. The Minister of Culture and Information, the Ministers, Heads of Ministries equivalent to ministries, and Heads of central government agencies, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities are responsible for implementing this Decision.
