DECISION
ON THE ESTABLISHMENT OF THE ASSOCIATION OF PRIVATE UNIVERSITIES AND COLLEGES IN VIETNAM
MINISTER OF HOME AFFAIRS
Pursuant to Decree No. 102/SL-L004 dated May 20, 1957 on the right to establish associations.
Pursuant to Government Decree No. 45/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 9, 2003 stipulating the functions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Home Affairs.
Pursuant to Government Decree No. 88/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 30, 2003 on organization, operation, and management of associations.
Considering the proposal by the steering committee for establishing the Association of Private Universities and Colleges in Vietnam, the Ministry of Education and Training's proposal, and that of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations.
DECIDES:
Article 1. To permit the establishment of the Association of Private Universities and Colleges in Vietnam.
Article 2. The Association of Private Universities and Colleges in Vietnam shall organize and operate according to its Statutes approved by the Minister of Home Affairs, and be subject to state management by the Ministry of Education and Training within the scope of its activities. The Association of Private Universities and Colleges in Vietnam shall finance its own operations.
Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days after publication in the Official Gazette.
Article 4. The Chairman of the Association of Private Universities and Colleges in Vietnam, the Director of the Department of Non-Governmental Organizations, and the Secretary-General of the Ministry of Home Affairs are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
