THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/ND-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 166/2004/ND-CP of the Government dated September 16, 2004 on the responsibilities for state management of education;

Pursuant to Decision No. 14/2008/QD-BGDĐT dated April 7, 2008 of the Minister of Education and Training promulgating the Charter of Kindergartens;

At the proposal of the Director of the Early Childhood Education Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Regulation on Recognizing National Standards for Kindergartens.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. This Decision replaces Decision No. 45/2001/QD-BGD&ĐT dated December 26, 2001 of the Minister of Education and Training on the issuance of the Regulation on Recognizing National Standards for Kindergartens for the period from 2002 to 2005 and Decision No. 25/2005/QD-BGD&ĐT dated August 22, 2005 of the Minister of Education and Training amending and supplementing certain provisions of the Regulation on Recognizing National Standards for Kindergartens for the period from 2002 to 2005 issued together with Decision No. 45/2001/QD-BGD&ĐT dated December 26, 2001 of the Minister of Education and Training.

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Early Childhood Education Department, Heads of units related to the Ministry of Education and Training, Chairpersons of People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, Directors of provincial Departments of Education and Training are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
