THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006;

Pursuant to the Law on Product Quality and Commodities dated November 21, 2007;

Based on Decree No. 96/2022/NĐ-CP dated November 29, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Regulations and Standards; Decree No. 78/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 16, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Regulations and Standards;

Pursuant to Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Product Quality; Decree No. 74/2018/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2018 of the Government amending and supplementing certain provisions of Decree No. 132/2008/NĐ-CP dated December 31, 2008 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Product Quality; Decree No. 154/2018/NĐ-CP dated November 9, 2018 of the Government amending, supplementing, and abolishing certain provisions regarding investment and business conditions in the field of management under the Ministry of Science and Technology and certain provisions regarding specialized inspection;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Safety Technology and Industrial Environment;

The Minister of Industry and Trade issues this Circular promulgating the National Technical Regulation on safety for explosion-proof electric motors used in underground mines.

Article 1. Issuance of the National Technical Regulation

Attached to this Circular is the National Technical Regulation on safety for explosion-proof electric motors used in underground mines. Code: QCVN 22:2023/BCT.

Article 2. Effective Date

1. This Circular takes effect from July 1, 2024.

2. The National Technical Regulation on safety for explosion-proof electric motors used in underground mines shall take effect from July 1, 2023.

3. In case the legal normative documents, technical regulations, and standards cited in this National Technical Regulation are amended, supplemented, or replaced, they shall be implemented according to the new provisions thereof.

Article 3. Implementation Organization

The Head of the Ministry's Office, the Director of the Department of Safety and Environmental Technology; Heads of relevant agencies, organizations, and individuals are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
