DECREE-LAW
No. 36 dated September 22, 1945
THE CHAIRMAN OF THE PROVISIONAL GOVERNMENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Considering the current economic situation,
In accordance with the proposal of the Minister of Economy,
DECREE-LAW:
Clause 1: As of the date this decree-law is signed, all trade unions listed below shall be abolished throughout Vietnam:
Trade Union for Agriculture and Forestry
Trade Union for Industry
Trade Union for Mining
Trade Union for Commerce (both domestic and foreign)
Trade Union for Transportation
Trade Union for Banking
Clause 2: The Minister of Economy shall delegate the organization to settle matters concerning those trade unions.
Clause 3: Remaining assets of those trade unions will be merged into relevant economic agencies related to their industry.
Such agencies shall be designated by the Minister of Economy.
Clause 4: The Ministers of Interior, Justice, and Economy are hereby instructed to enforce this decree-law./.
