DECREE
Regarding the establishment of communes and towns under the districts of Chau Thanh and Chau Thanh A, Can Tho province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Civil Service Agency of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Adjusting administrative boundaries to establish communes and towns under the districts of Chau Thanh and Chau Thanh A, Can Tho province as follows:
1. Establishing commune Phu Huu A under Chau Thanh district based on 1,799 hectares of natural area and 10,593 population of commune Phu Huu;
Administrative boundary of commune Phu Huu A: East borders Soc Trang province; West borders commune Dong Phu; South borders commune Phu Huu; North borders Vinh Long province.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish commune Phu Huu A, commune Phu Huu remains with 3,284 hectares of natural area and 20,102 population.
2. Establishing town Ngua Sau under Chau Thanh district based on 1,100 hectares of natural area and 5,530 population of commune Dong Phuoc;
Administrative boundary of town Ngua Sau: East borders commune Phu Huu; West borders commune Dong Phuoc A; South borders commune Dong Phuoc; North borders communes Phu An and Dong Phu.
3. Establishing commune Dong Phuoc A under Chau Thanh district based on 2,258 hectares of natural area and 9,290 population of commune Dong Phuoc;
Administrative boundary of commune Dong Phuoc A: East borders town Ngua Sau; West borders commune Dong Thanh and Chau Thanh A district; South borders commune Dong Phuoc and Phung Hiep district; North borders communes Phu An.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish town Ngua Sau and commune Dong Phuoc A, commune Dong Phuoc remains with 2,541 hectares of natural area and 12,664 population.
4. Establishing commune Nhon Nghi A under Chau Thanh A district based on 1,840 hectares of natural area and 11,999 population of commune Nhon Nghi;
Administrative boundary of commune Nhon Nghi A: East borders commune Nhon Nghi; West borders communes Tan Thuan and Truong Long Tay; South borders commune Thanh Xuan; North borders communes Truong Long and Nhon Ai.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish commune Nhon Nghi A, commune Nhon Nghi remains with 2,066 hectares of natural area and 16,713 population.
5. Establishing commune Truong Long A under Chau Thanh A district based on 2,771 hectares of natural area and 10,619 population of commune Truong Long Tay;
Administrative boundary of commune Truong Long A: East borders commune Truong Long; West borders commune Truong Long Tay; South borders commune Tan Thuan; North borders O Mon district.
After adjusting administrative boundaries to establish commune Truong Long A, commune Truong Long Tay remains with 2,165 hectares of natural area and 7,678 population.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Can Tho province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Civil Service Agency of the Government, and heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
