THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION

On the basis of the Cultural Heritage Law and Decree No. 92/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Cultural Heritage Law;

Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 11, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;

On the basis of the Report No. 1125/TTr-UB dated August 24, 2004, of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province and the dossier of the archaeological site;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the National Heritage Department,

DECISION:

Article 1. Classification of national monuments:

ANCIENT ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF AN THO CASTLE, AN DAN COMMUNE, TUY AN DISTRICT, PHU YEN PROVINCE.

PROVINCE OF PHÚ YÊN.

Article 2. The People's Committees at all levels where the sites classified under Article 1 of this Decision are located shall perform state management over the An Tho Castle archaeological site within their respective functions and powers in accordance with the laws on cultural heritage.

Article 3. The Standard Measurement Quality Control Department shall be responsible for organizing and guiding the implementation of the Regulations adopted herein.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Director of the Heritage Department, the Chairman of the People's Committee of Phu Yen Province, the Director of the Department of Culture and Information of Phu Yen Province, and other relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
