Issuing the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education Programs in the Engineering Field at Bachelor's and College Levels

Pursuant to Decree No. 178/2007/NĐ-CP dated December 3, 2007 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and Ministerial-Level Agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 32/2008/NĐ-CP dated March 19, 2008 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Education;
Pursuant to the review results of the Advisory Council for the Development of the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education Programs in the Engineering Field at Bachelor's and College Levels on June 5, 2008;
At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Higher Education,
The Minister of Education and Training decides:
Article 1. Attached herewith is the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education Programs in the Engineering Field at Bachelor's and College Levels, comprising seven framework curricula for the following seven fields:
1. Robotics Engineering, Bachelor's Level.
2. Petroleum Processing Engineering, Bachelor's Level.
3. Architectural Engineering, Bachelor's Level.
4. Metallurgical Engineering, Bachelor's Level.
5. Mechanical and Electrical Engineering, Bachelor's Level.
6. Energy Technology and Energy System Management, Bachelor's Level.
7. Footwear Engineering, College Level.
Article 2. This Circular shall take effect 45 days from the date of signature. The attached Framework Curriculum shall be used by universities, academies, colleges, and higher education institutions assigned the task of training these fields at the bachelor's or college levels.
Article 3. Based on the framework curriculum prescribed in this Circular, the Rectors of universities and academies, and the Principals of colleges shall organize the development of specific educational programs for their institutions; organize the compilation and approval of textbooks for courses for official use in their institutions based on the review by the Textbook Review Board established by the Rector or Principal.
Article 4. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Department of Higher Education, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training; Rectors of universities and academies, Principals of colleges are responsible for implementing this Circular./.
