DECISION OF THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Regarding the issuance of the "List of permitted food additives"
is permitted for use in food
THE MINISTER OF HEALTH
Pursuant to the Health Protection Law dated June 30, 1989 and the Sanitation Regulations issued together with Decision No. 23-HĐBT dated January 24, 1991 of the Council of Ministers (now the Government);
Pursuant to the Decree No. 68/CP dated October 11, 1993 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/CP dated December 8, 1995 of the Government on the Allocation of Responsibilities for State Management of Product Quality;
At the proposal of the Director of the Food Safety Quality Management Department and the Director of the Science and Training Department of the Ministry of Health,
DECISION:
Article 1. Issued together with this Decision "Regulations on the List of Permitted Food Additives."
Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of issuance and shall replace Section I on food additives in the "List of Sanitation Standards for Grains and Foods" issued together with Decision No. 867/1998/QĐ-BYT dated April 4, 1998 of the Minister of Health.
Article 3. The Director of the Food Safety Quality Management Department shall be responsible for organizing, directing, guiding the implementation, and supervising the enforcement of this Decision.
Article 4. Gentlemen/Ladies: Head of the Office, Inspector General, Directors of the Legal Affairs Department, Science and Training Department; Director of the Food Safety Quality Management Department - Ministry of Health, Provincial/City Health Departments under the Central Government, Heads of units directly under the Ministry of Health, Sectoral Health Authorities are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
