AMENDMENTS AND SUPPLEMENTS TO JOINT CIRCULAR NO. 21/2015/TTLT-BTTTT-BTC DATED JULY 21, 2015 GUIDING SUPPORT FOR PILOT DIGITAL TV RECEIVERS ON THE GROUND IN HO CHI MINH CITY DANANG AND 4 DISTRICTS OF NORTH QUANG NAM UNDER THE DIGITALIZATION PROJECT OF GROUND-BASED TV TRANSMISSION AND BROADCASTING UNTIL 2020

Pursuant to the Law on Telecommunications dated November 23, 2009;

Pursuant to the Radio Frequency Law dated November 23, 2009;

Based on Decree No. 132/2013/ND-CP dated October 16, 2013 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Information and Communications;

Pursuant to Decree No. 215/2013/NĐ-CP dated December 23, 2013, promulgated by the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Finance;

Pursuant to Decision No. 11/2014/QĐ-TTg dated January 27, 2014 of the Prime Minister on the organization and operation of the Vietnam Universal Service Fund;

Implementing Decision No. 2451/QĐ-TTg dated December 27, 2011 of the Prime Minister approving the Digitalization Project of Ground-Based TV Transmission and Broadcasting until 2020;

Implementing Circular No. 447/VPCP-KTTH dated January 20, 2015 of the Government Office regarding the use of funds from the Vietnam Universal Service Fund to support digital TV receivers for poor and near-poor households under the Digitalization Project of Ground-Based TV Transmission and Broadcasting until 2020 in Danang and North Quang Nam;

The Ministers of Information and Communications and Finance hereby issue this Joint Circular amending and supplementing Joint Circular No. 21/2015/TTLT-BTTTT-BTC dated July 21, 2015 guiding support for pilot digital TV receivers on the ground in Danang City and four districts of North Quang Nam under the Digitalization Project of Ground-Based TV Transmission and Broadcasting until 2020.

Article 1.

dated July 21, 2015 of the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Finance shall be amended and supplemented as follows:

"3. Supported area: Danang City and four districts of North Quang Nam including: Hoi An City, Dien Ban District, areas only able to receive digital terrestrial TV DVB-T2 broadcasts from Vietnam Television at Son Tra in Dai Loc and Duy Xuyen Districts."

Article 2. Effective Date

1. This Circular takes effect from February 14, 2016.

2. In the course of implementation, if there are difficulties or obstacles, it is requested that relevant ministries, central agencies, and localities report to the Ministry of Information and Communications and the Ministry of Finance for study and resolution.
