Decree No. 39/2005/ND-CP On Adjusting Administrative Boundaries and Establishing Communes and Towns in Vinh City and Tan Ky and Que Phong Districts, Nghe An Province

DECREE

Regarding the adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of wards and communes under the city of Vinh and the districts of Tan Ky, Que Phong, Nghe An province

The adjustment of administrative boundaries and the establishment of wards and communes under the city of Vinh and the districts of Tan Ky, Que Phong, Nghe An province are as follows:

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

Considering the proposal of the Minister of Home Affairs and the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province,

DECREE:

Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted and wards and communes are established under the city of Vinh and the districts of Tan Ky, Que Phong, Nghe An province as follows:

1. Establishing the ward Hung Phuc under the city of Vinh based on 58.17 hectares of natural area and 7,932 population from the ward Hung Binh, and 55.73 hectares of natural area and 1,535 population from the ward Hung Dung.

The ward Hung Phuc has 113.90 hectares of natural area and 9,467 population.

Administrative boundary of the ward Hung Phuc: East borders the ward Hung Dung; West borders the ward Hung Binh; South borders the ward Truong Thi; North borders the ward Ha Huy Tap.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the ward Hung Phuc:

- The ward Hung Binh remains with 162.22 hectares of natural area and 14,523 population.

- The ward Hung Dung remains with 515.76 hectares of natural area and 11,565 population.

2. Establishing the ward Quan Bau under the city of Vinh based on 111.20 hectares of natural area and 5,300 population from the ward Le Loi, and 120.20 hectares of natural area and 3,370 population from the commune Hung Dong.

The ward Quan Bau has 231.40 hectares of natural area and 8,670 population.

Administrative boundary of the ward Quan Bau: East borders the ward Ha Huy Tap; West borders the ward Dong Vinh and the commune Hung Dong; South borders the wards Le Loi and Hung Binh; North borders the communes Hung Dong and Nghia Phu.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the ward Quan Bau:

- The ward Le Loi remains with 137.20 hectares of natural area and 12,700 population.

- The commune Hung Dong remains with 642.96 hectares of natural area and 7,686 population.

3. Adjusting 1,657 hectares of natural area and 2,388 population of the commune Nghia Hinh under the district Tan Ky to be managed by the commune Huong Son.

4. Establishing the commune Tan Huong under the district Tan Ky based on 1,557.50 hectares of natural area and 4,219 population from the commune Ky Son, 1,038 hectares of natural area and 1,918 population from the commune Nghia Hinh, and 532 hectares of natural area and 954 population from the commune Huong Son.

The commune Tan Huong has 3,127.50 hectares of natural area and 7,091 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune Tan Huong: East borders the commune Ky Son; West borders the commune Huong Son; South borders the commune Nghia Hinh and the district Do Luong; North borders the communes Huong Son, Tan An, and Ky Son.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Tan Huong:

- The commune Ky Son remains with 2,748.82 hectares of natural area and 7,237 population.

- The commune Nghia Hinh remains with 3,628.37 hectares of natural area and 6,256 population.

- The commune Huong Son has 3,552 hectares of natural area and 5,481 population.

5. Establishing the commune Que Son under the district Que Phong based on 3,770 hectares of natural area and 3,324 population from the commune Muong Noc.

The commune Que Son has 3,770 hectares of natural area and 3,324 population.

Administrative boundary of the commune Que Son: East borders the district Quy Chau; West borders the commune Muong Noc; South borders the commune Quang Phong and the district Quy Chau; North borders the commune Tien Phong.

After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish the commune Que Son, the commune Muong Noc remains with 3,160 hectares of natural area and 5,993 population.

Article 2. This Decree shall take effect fifteen days after its publication in the Official Gazette. All previous provisions contrary to this Decree are hereby abolished.

Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
