THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING

Pursuant to the Education Law dated June 14, 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of ministries and ministerial-level agencies;

Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;

Pursuant to Decree No. 75/2006/NĐ-CP dated August 2, 2006 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Education Law;

Pursuant to the results of the evaluation by the Evaluation Council of the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Primary Education Major at Bachelor's Degree Level on May 27, 2006 and June 6, 2006;

Considering the proposal of the Director of the Department of Higher Education and Postgraduate Studies,

Pursuant to …;

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the Framework Curriculum for Higher Education in Primary Education Major at Bachelor's Degree Level (including Appendices I and II) attached hereto.

Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The framework curriculum promulgated herein shall be used in universities, academies, and colleges with the responsibility to train the Primary Education Major at Bachelor's Degree Level.

Article 3. Based on the framework curriculum prescribed in this Decision, the Rectors of universities and academies, and the Principals of colleges shall determine their respective education programs; organize the compilation and approval of textbooks for courses for official use in their institutions based on the evaluation by the Textbook Evaluation Council established by the Rector or Principal.

Article 4. The Heads of the Office, the Directors of the Department of Higher Education and Postgraduate Studies, the heads of units related to the Ministry of Education and Training, the Rectors of universities and academies, and the Principals of colleges are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
