NO. 4/SL OF FEBRUARY 1, 1949
OF THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
THE PRESIDENT OF THE DEMOCRATIC REPUBLIC OF VIETNAM
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 57-SL dated May 3, 1946 on the organization of Ministries;
Pursuant to Decree-Laws Nos. 34-SL dated May 22, 1946 and 35-SL dated March 9, 1947 on the organization of the Ministry of National Defense;
Pursuant to Decree-Law No. 47-SL dated May 1, 1947 on the General Staff;
At the proposal of the Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the Vietnamese National Army and People's Militia;
ISSUES THE FOLLOWING DECREE:
Article 1: Appoints Mr. Le Trong Nghia, former Director of the Office of the Ministry of National Defense and Director of the Office of the General Staff, to serve as Deputy Chief of the Intelligence Bureau under the Ministry of National Defense and Chief Commander of the Vietnamese National Army and People's Militia;
Article 2: The Minister of National Defense and Chief Commander of the Vietnamese National Army and People's Militia shall implement this Decree-Law.
