DECREE
Regarding the establishment of communes under the districts of Quynh Luu,
Thanh Chuong, and Nghe Luc, Nghe An province
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;
Considering the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government,
DECREE:
Article 1. Now, the administrative boundaries are adjusted to establish communes under the districts of Quynh Luu, Thanh Chuong, and Nghe Luc, Nghe An province as follows:
1. Establishing Tan Thang commune under Quynh Luu district based on 7,018 hectares of natural area and 3,019 population of Quynh Thang commune.
The administrative boundary of Tan Thang commune: East borders Quynh Vinh and Quynh Trang communes; West borders Nghia Dan district; South borders Quynh Thang commune; North borders Thanh Hoa province.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Tan Thang commune, Quynh Thang commune retains 3,864 hectares of natural area and 8,303 population.
2. Establishing Thanh Duc commune under Thanh Chuong district based on 17,000.76 hectares of natural area and 4,870 population of Hanh Lam commune.
The administrative boundary of Thanh Duc commune: East borders Hanh Lam and Thanh Nho communes; West borders Anh Son district and the Lao Democratic People's Republic; South borders Hanh Lam commune and the Lao Democratic People's Republic; North borders Anh Son district.
After adjusting the administrative boundaries to establish Thanh Duc commune, Hanh Lam commune retains 17,275.21 hectares of natural area and 5,325 population.
3. Dividing Nghi Cong commune under Nghi Loc district into two communes: Nghi Cong Bac and Nghi Cong Nam.
Nghi Cong Bac commune has 1,500 hectares of natural area and 4,822 population.
The administrative boundary of Nghi Cong Bac commune: East borders Hung Nguen district; West borders Nghi Lam and Nghi Kieu communes; South borders Nghi Cong Nam commune; North borders Nghi My commune.
Nghi Cong Nam commune has 1,807 hectares of natural area and 5,718 population.
The administrative boundary of Nghi Cong Nam commune: East borders Hung Nguen district; West borders Nam Dan district; South borders Nam Dan district; North borders Nghi Cong Bac commune.
Article 2. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Lam Dong Province, the Minister of Home Affairs, and the Heads of relevant agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree./.
Article 3. The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadres Department of the Government, and the Heads of related agencies are responsible for implementing this Decree.
