Pursuant to the Law on Protection and Development of Forests 2004;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2003/NĐ-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development;
Pursuant to Decision No. 245/1998/QĐ-TTg dated December 21, 1998 of the Government Chairman on implementing state management responsibilities at all levels for forests and forest land;
Pursuant to Decision No. 08/2001/QĐ-TTg dated January 11, 2001 of the Government Chairman on issuing the regulation on managing special-use forests, protective forests, and naturally grown production forests;

Article 1. The attached to this decision is the "Regulation on Logging Timber and Other Forest Products".
Article 2. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette of the Government and replaces Decision No. 04/2004/QĐ-BNN-LN dated February 2, 2004 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on the Regulation on Logging Timber and Other Forest Products.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Heads of relevant units, Directors of Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development, Chiefs of Forest Inspection Bureaus, Directors of State-owned Enterprises, Companies, Businesses, and forest owners engaged in logging timber and other forest products shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
