GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 1997 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam 2003;

Pursuant to the Law on Competition and Reward 2003 and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Competition and Reward 2005;

Pursuant to Decree No. 52/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 19, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decree No. 121/2005/NĐ-CP dated September 30, 2005 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Competition and Reward and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Law on Competition and Reward;

Pursuant to Decree No. 122/2005/NĐ-CP dated October 4, 2005 of the Government stipulating the organization for competition and reward work;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Competition and Reward,

DECISION:

Article 1. The accompanying this Decision is the Regulation on Competition and Reward in the Banking Industry.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Abolishing Decision No. 805/2001/QĐ-NHNN dated June 21, 2001 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on issuing the Regulation on Competition and Reward in the Banking Industry and Decision No. 1422/2002/QĐ-NHNN dated December 25, 2002 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam on supplementing and amending certain articles and clauses of Decision No. 805/2001/QĐ-NHNN dated June 21, 2001 of the Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam.

Article 3. The Chairman of the Competition and Reward Council in the Banking Industry, the Director of the Department of Competition and Reward, the Head of the Office, and the Heads of units under the Banking Industry shall be responsible for implementing this Decision.
