Issuing National Technical Regulations on Electrical Engineering

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Law on Standards and Technical Regulations dated June 29, 2006 of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to the Electricity Law dated December 3, 2004 of the National Assembly of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

WHEREAS, Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing and guiding the implementation of certain provisions of the Law on Technical Standards and Regulations;

Pursuant to Circular No. 23/2007/TT-BKHCN dated September 28, 2007 of the Ministry of Science and Technology guiding the development, review, and issuance of technical regulations;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department,

c) Enterprises may be granted permission for no more than one block out of the total three dual-frequency blocks (FDD) B

Article 1. Attached to this Circular is the set of National Technical Regulations on Electrical Engineering as follows:

- Volume 5 Inspection of Electrical System Equipment

Code: QCVN QTĐ-5: 2009/BCT

- Volume 6 Operation and Maintenance of Electrical System Equipment

Code: QCVN QTĐ-6: 2009/BCT

- Volume 7 Construction of Electrical Works

Code: QCVN QTĐ-7: 2009/BCT

(Volumes 1, 2, 3, and 4 were issued pursuant to Decision No. 19/2006/QĐ-BCN dated July 11, 2006 of the Minister of Industry issuing the Electrical Equipment Regulations).

Article 2. This Circular shall take effect 45 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. The above set of regulations will replace the Construction Standard for Electrical Works TCN-1-84, the Operation Regulation for Power Plants and Grids QPNL-01-90, and the Industry Standard on Mass and Testing, Acceptance, Handover of Electrical Works TCN-26-87.

Article 3. Ministries, ministerial-level agencies, government agencies, People's Committees of provinces and centrally governed cities, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
