Issuing the Regulations on Safety Management in Petroleum Activities

PRIME MINISTER

Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;

Based on the Labor Code dated June 23, 1994;

Pursuant to the Petroleum Law dated July 6, 1993;

On the basis of the Environmental Protection Law dated December 27, 1993;

Pursuant to Decree No. 84/CP dated December 17, 1996 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Petroleum Law.

DECISION:

Article 1The Safety Management Regulations in Petroleum Activities are hereby promulgated together with this Decision.

Article 2This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of signature. Previous provisions contrary to this Decision are abolished.

Article 3Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees under central cities, Heads of relevant agencies, Chairpersons of the Board of Directors, and General Directors of Vietnam Oil and Gas Corporation are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
