THE MINISTER OF POSTS AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

On the basis of the Ordinance on Posts and Telecommunications dated May 25, 2002;

On the basis of the Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications;

On the basis of the Decree No. 160/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Posts and Telecommunications regarding Telecommunications;

On the basis of the Decree No. 24/2004/NĐ-CP dated January 14, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Ordinance on Posts and Telecommunications regarding radio frequency spectrum;

On the basis of the Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management of product quality;

Considering the Report No. 31/QLCL-CLSP dated September 12, 2006 of the Director of the Quality Management Department of Posts and Telecommunications and Information Technology;

At the proposal of the Heads of the Science and Technology Department and the Legal Department.

Clause 4 of Article 6Issued along with this Decision are the "Regulations on Certification and Declaration of Conformity with Standards for Products under the Specialized Management of the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications".

This Decision replaces Decision No. 285/2000/QĐ-TCBĐ dated March 29, 2000 of the General Post Office Director issuing "Regulations on Certification of Postal and Telecommunication Equipment", Decision No. 41/2004/QĐ-BBCVT dated October 5, 2004 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications issuing regulations on conformity declaration labels for telecommunication equipment, Decision No. 42/2004/QĐ-BBCVT dated October 5, 2004 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications issuing "List of Telecommunication Equipment Required to Be Labeled with Conformity Declaration", Decision No. 43/2004/QĐ-BBCVT dated October 5, 2004 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications issuing the model of conformity declaration label, and Decision No. 22/2005/QĐ-BBCVT dated June 30, 2005 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications amending Decision No. 42/2004/QĐ-BBCVT dated October 5, 2004 of the Minister of Posts and Telecommunications issuing "List of Telecommunication Equipment Required to Be Labeled with Conformity Declaration".

Article 3. The Head of the Office, Heads of the Science and Technology Department, Director of the Quality Management Department of Posts and Telecommunications and Information Technology, Heads of agencies and units under the Ministry of Posts and Telecommunications, and organizations and individuals producing, trading, and using electronic products, telecommunications, and information technology are responsible for implementing this Decision.
