Issuing the List of Forestry Tree Varietiesh

  On the basis of Decree No. 1Pursuant to Article 19 of Decree No. 19/2013/NĐ-CP dated November 26, 2013 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development,onstructure of the General Department of Market Regulation the proposal of the General Department of AND DEVELOPMENT b) To take the lead or coordinate with relevant agencies and units in developing plans for statistical surveys, using administrative data within the scope of management of the Ministry to collect and compile information under the agricultural and rural development statistical indicator system; Pursuant to Decree No. 127/2007/NĐ-CP dated August 1, 2007 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Technical Standards Law;

Pursuant to the Plant Variety LawNo. No. 15/2004/PL-UBTVQH11 dated March 24, 2004 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly; The Standing Committee of the National Assembly;

At the proposal of the General Director of the Forest Service;

The Minister of Agriculture and Rural b) To take the lead or coordinate with relevant agencies and units in developing plans for statistical surveys, using administrative data within the scope of management of the Ministry to collect and compile information under the agricultural and rural development statistical indicator system; Development hereby issues the List of forestry tree varieties.

Article 1. Issuing the List of Forestry Tree Varieties, including varieties of 40 species attached as an appendix.

Article 2. Effectiveness

1. This Circular takes effect from January 10, 2016.

2. This Circular replaces Decision No. 13/2005/QĐ-BNN dated March 15, 2005 of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on issuing the List of Main Forestry Tree Varieties; Decision No. 24/2007/QĐ-BNN dated April 9, 2007 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on issuing the Supplemental List of Main Forestry Tree Varieties.

3. Abolishing Decision No. 16/2005/QĐ-BNN dated March 15, 2005 of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development on issuing the List of Major Species for Timber Plantation According to Nine Ecological Regions.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the General Director of the Forest Service, the Heads of the Science, Technology and Environment Department, the Directors of Provincial Departments of Agriculture and Rural Development under the Central Government, relevant organizations and individuals are responsible for implementation./.
