AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 2 OF CIRCULAR NO. 16/2019/TT-NHNN
DATED OCTOBER 22, 2019 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM ON THE ISSUE OF STATE BANK BILLS

Pursuant to the Law on the State Bank of Vietnam No. 46/2010/QH12 dated June 16, 2022 2010;
Pursuant to the Law on Credit Institutions dated January 18, 2024;
Pursuant to Decree No. 102/2022/NĐ-CP dated December 12, 2022 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the State Bank of Vietnam;
Article 1.
THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM ISSUES THIS CIRCULAR TO AMEND AND SUPPLEMENT CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 2 OF CIRCULAR NO. 16/2019/TT-NHNN DATED OCTOBER 22, 2019 ISSUED BY THE GOVERNOR OF THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM ON THE ISSUE OF STATE BANK BILLS.
ARTICLE 1. AMENDING AND SUPPLEMENTING CLAUSE 2 OF ARTICLE 2 OF CIRCULAR NO. 16/2019/TT-NHNN
"2. COMMERCIAL BANKS, FOREIGN BANK BRANCHES, COMPREHENSIVE FINANCE COMPANIES, SPECIALIZED FINANCE COMPANIES, COOPERATIVE BANKS, POLICY BANKS (HEREINAFTER REFERRED TO AS CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS)."
Article 2. Responsibility for Implementation
THE HEAD OF THE OFFICE, DIRECTORS OF DEPARTMENTS UNDER THE STATE BANK OF VIETNAM, THE VIETNAM DEPOSIT INSURANCE CORPORATION, AND CREDIT ORGANIZATIONS ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPLEMENTING THIS CIRCULAR.
Article 3. Implementation Provisions
THIS CIRCULAR SHALL TAKE EFFECT FROM OCTOBER 23, 2024.
