Pursuant to the Medicine Law dated June 14, 2005;
Pursuant to Ordinance No. 39/2001/PL-UBTVQH10 dated November 16, 2001 of the Standing Committee of the National Assembly on Advertising;
Pursuant to Decree No. 59/2002/NĐ-CP dated June 4, 2002 of the Government on the abolition of certain licenses and the replacement of certain licenses with other management methods;
Pursuant to Decree No. 24/2003/NĐ-CP dated March 13, 2003 of the Government detailing the implementation of the Advertising Ordinance;
Pursuant to Decree No. 49/2003/NĐ-CP dated May 15, 2003 of the Government on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Health;
Pursuant to Circular Joint No. 01/2004/TTLT-BVHTT-BYT dated January 12, 2004 of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Ministry of Health guiding advertising activities in the health sector.
At the proposal of the Director of the Vietnam Medicine Administration Bureau,
DECISION:
Article 1. Attached to this Decision is the "List of Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients for Advertising Registration on Radio and Television".
Article 2. This Decision takes effect 15 days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette and replaces Decision No. 815/2003/QĐ-BYT dated March 12, 2003 of the Minister of Health on the issuance of the list of active pharmaceutical ingredients for advertising registration on radio and television.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Inspectorate General of the Ministry, Directors of the Vietnam Medicine Administration Bureau, Treatment Department, Traditional Medicine Department, and related Departments and Bureaus, Heads of affiliated units of the Ministry, Provincial Health Directors, Central City Health Directors, Health Sector Heads, and domestic organizations, individuals, and foreign persons engaged in advertising pharmaceuticals on radio and television in Vietnam are responsible for implementing this Decision.
