ON THE REPORTING OF ASSETS FOR CANDIDATES FOR DEPUTIES TO PEOPLE'S COUNCILS AT ALL LEVELS
NATIONAL ASSEMBLY STANDING COMMITTEE
Pursuant to Article 91 of the Constitution of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam promulgated in 1992, amended and supplemented by Resolution No. 51/2001/QH10 dated December 25, 2001 of the 10th National Assembly, 10th Session;
Based on the Law on the Organization of the National Assembly;
At the proposal of the Government Prime Minister,
RESOLUTION:
Clause 4 of Article 6When running for election as a deputy to People's Councils at all levels, candidates must report their assets.
The purpose of asset reporting is to ensure transparency regarding assets, creating conditions for voters to participate in monitoring their representatives.
12/2025/TT-BNNMT dated June 19, 2025 issued by the Minister of Agriculture and EnvironmentAssets to be reported include:
1. Houses inherited, houses gifted, houses purchased, houses self-built, or other types of houses that the reporter currently possesses;
2. Land granted for use, land inherited, land transferred, land leased, or other types of land that the reporter currently possesses (including residential land, land for production and business purposes, unused land);
3. Production and business establishments, including: fixed assets, circulating assets;
4. Various types of shares, bonds, capital contributions to enterprises, production and business establishments;
5. Assets used for living purposes with a value of fifty million dong or more, such as: cars, boats?
Article 3. Candidates for deputies to People's Councils at all levels must fully, accurately, and truthfully report all types of assets according to the form issued together with this Resolution and shall bear responsibility for the contents of their reports.
The asset report must be submitted along with the candidate's application file.
Article 4. When signs of illegality are detected in the reported assets, the Election Committee shall request competent authorities to investigate, verify, and conclude so that the Election Committee can consider and decide according to the provisions of the law on elections.
Article 5.Any person who distorts the content, loses, damages the report, provides it to unauthorized persons for illegal exploitation and use, shall be subject to disciplinary action or criminal liability according to the provisions of the law depending on the nature and degree of violation.
Article 6.This Resolution takes effect from the date of signature.
The Government shall guide the implementation of this Resolution.
