THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY

Pursuant to the Government Decree No. 74/CP dated November 1, 1995 on the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry;

Pursuant to Decision No. 67/2000/QĐ-BCN dated November 20, 2000, of the Minister of Industry on issuing the List of Mechanical Products Entitled to Incentives as stipulated in Article 5, Section I, Resolution No. 11/2000/NQ-CP dated July 31, 2000, of the Government;

Pursuant to Resolution No. 05/2001/NQ-CP dated May 24, 2001, of the Government on supplementing certain measures for managing the economic plan in 2001;

After reaching a consensus among the Ministry of Planning and Investment, the Ministry of Finance, and the Development Support Fund;

Delegating the Management Boards of High-Tech Zones in provinces and centrally governed cities the authority to approve plans for importing finished products to combine with export products and to approve the liquidation of machinery, equipment, transportation means, materials, and raw materials of joint ventures, wholly foreign-owned enterprises, export processing enterprises, and contractual joint ventures under the management of the delegated authority.

DECISION:

Article 1. Add high-quality welding rods and wires serving the shipbuilding industry in the feasibility study project "Investment in Building a Welding Material Production Enterprise" of the Nam Triệu Shipbuilding Industry Company (under the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation) to the List of Mechanical Products Entitled to Investment Incentives (as stipulated in Article 5, Section I, Resolution No. 11/2000/NQ-CP dated July 31, 2000, of the Government; Resolution No. 05/2001/NQ-CP dated May 24, 2001, of the Government) issued together with Decision No. 67/2000/QĐ-BCN dated November 20, 2000, of the Minister of Industry.

Article 2. The Nam Triệu Shipbuilding Industry Company shall implement preferential investment loans according to the guidelines set out in Circulars No. 268 HTPT/TDTW dated March 1, 2001, and Circular No. 890 HTPT/KHNV dated June 8, 2001, of the Development Support Fund.

Article 3. This Decision takes effect fifteen days from the date of signature. The Director of the Ministry's Office, the Inspector General of the Ministry, Heads of Departments, Directors of Agencies under the Ministry, the General Director of the Vietnam Shipbuilding Industry Corporation, and the Director of the Nam Triệu Shipbuilding Industry Company are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
