Regarding the correction of Circular Joint No. 35/2006/TTLT-BGDĐT-BNV dated August 23, 2006, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding the staffing norms for civil servants at public general education institutions
THE MINISTER OF EDUCATION AND TRAINING
Pursuant to the Law on Legislative Activities dated November 12, 1996, and the Law Amending and Supplementing Certain Articles of the Law on Legislative Activities dated December 16, 2002;
Pursuant to Decree No. 86/2002/ND-CP dated November 5, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of Ministries and ministerial-level agencies;
Pursuant to Decree No. 85/2003/ND-CP dated July 18, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Education and Training;
Pursuant to Decree No. 104/2004/ND-CP dated March 23, 2004 of the Government on the Official Gazette of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;
Pursuant to Circular No. 04/2005/TT-VPCP dated March 21, 2006 guiding the implementation of Decree No. 104/2004/ND-CP dated March 23, 2004 of the Government on the Official Gazette of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam;

DECISION:
Article 1. Correcting Circular Joint No. 35/2006/TTLT-BGDĐT-BNV dated August 23, 2006, issued by the Ministry of Education and Training and the Ministry of Home Affairs guiding the staffing norms for civil servants at public general education institutions as follows:
The content specified in Point 4 (Item I) at serial number 3 regarding the classification of secondary schools in mountainous areas, remote regions, and islands in column 4 (Class II) was previously stated as: From 10 to 27 classes. It is now amended to read: From 10 to 18 classes.
Article 2. This Decision takes effect from the date of signature.
Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Heads of the Department of Organization and Cadres, Heads of the Department of Planning and Finance, Heads of the Department of Primary Education, Heads of the Department of Secondary Education, Head of the Inspectorate, Heads of relevant units under the Ministry of Education and Training, Chairmen of Provincial People's Committees, Directors of educational and training institutions, provincial finance departments, and provincial home affairs departments are responsible for implementing this Decision.
