THE MINISTER OF CULTURE AND INFORMATION
- Pursuant to Decree No. 63/2003/NĐ-CP dated June 16, 2003 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and Information;
- Pursuant to Directive No. 20-CT/TW dated January 27, 2003 of the Central Committee's Secretariat on improving the quality and effectiveness of theoretical and political book publishing and distribution work in the new situation;
- At the proposal of the Director of the Publishing Department, the Head of the Library Department, and the Head of the Planning and Finance Department,

Article 1. This Decision promulgates the "Regulation on the Amount of Funds for Purchasing Theoretical and Political Books for the Library System" attached hereto.
Article 2. This regulation shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette. Any previous regulations of the Ministry of Culture and Information that conflict with this regulation shall be abolished.
Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry’s Office, Inspectorate, Publishing Department, Library Department, Planning and Finance Department, Directors of libraries, and related organizations are responsible for implementing this Decision.
