THE MINISTER OF POST AND TELECOMMUNICATIONS

On the basis of the Post and Telecommunications Ordinance dated May 25, 2002;

On the basis of the Decree No. 90/2002/NĐ-CP dated November 11, 2002 of the Government stipulating the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications;

On the basis of the Decree No. 160/2004/NĐ-CP dated September 3, 2004 of the Government detailing the implementation of certain provisions of the Post and Telecommunications Ordinance concerning Telecommunications;

On the basis of the Decree No. 179/2004/NĐ-CP dated October 21, 2004 of the Government stipulating state management over product quality;

Pursuant to the proposal of the Director of the Science and Technology Department and the Director of the Legal Affairs Department.

DECISION:

Article 1. The attached Decision promulgates the "Regulations on Designating Telecommunication Equipment Testing Rooms to Participate in Mutual Recognition Arrangement for Telecommunication Terminal Equipment Conformity Assessment TEL MRA".

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen (15) days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

This Decision replaces Decision No. 171/2003/QD-BBCVT dated October 29, 2003 of the Minister of Post and Telecommunications promulgating the "Regulations on Designating Telecommunication Equipment Testing Rooms".

Article 3. The Heads of the Office, Directors of the Science and Technology Department, Heads of units under the Ministry of Post and Telecommunications, Telecommunication Equipment Testing Rooms, and related organizations and individuals are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
