Issuing the Interim Regulation on Environmental Protection in the Industry and Trade Sector

THE MINISTER OF INDUSTRY AND TRADE

Pursuant to the Law on Environmental Protection No. 52/2005/QH11 adopted by the National Assembly on November 29, 2005, and related guiding documents;

Pursuant to Decree No. 189/2007/ND-CP dated December 27, 2007, issued by the Government, detailing the functions, tasks, powers, and organizational structure of the Ministry of Industry and Trade;

Pursuant to the Decree No. 81/2007/NĐ-CP dated May 23, 2007 of the Government stipulating the organization and specialized departments for environmental protection in state agencies and state-owned enterprises;

At the proposal of the Director of the Department of Industrial Safety and Environmental Protection;

DECISION:

Article 1. The Interim Regulation on Environmental Protection in the Industry and Trade Sector is hereby issued together with this Decision.

Article 2. This Decision shall take effect fifteen days from the date of publication in the Official Gazette.

Article 3. The Heads of the Ministry's Office, the Inspectorate, the Departments, the Departments' Directors, the Heads of the Ministries' affiliated agencies and units, the Directors of Provincial Industry and Trade Departments, and relevant enterprises are responsible for implementing this Decision./.
