Decree No. 52/2011/NĐ-CP stipulates the levels of preferential allowances for persons who have rendered meritorious service to the revolution.

DECREE

REGULATING THE AMOUNTS OF SUBSIDIES AND ALLOWANCES FOR PERSONS WITH MERIT TO THE REVOLUTION

THE GOVERNMENT

Pursuant to the Law on Organization of the Government dated December 25, 2001;

BASED ON Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Contributing to the Revolution dated June 29, 2005, and Ordinance Amending and Supplementing Certain Provisions of the Ordinance on Preferential Treatment for Persons Contributing to the Revolution dated June 21, 2007;

CONSIDERING the proposal of the Minister of Labor, Invalids, and Social Affairs,

DECREE:

Article 1. Specifies the standard amount for determining preferential allowances and subsidies for persons contributing to the revolution and the levels of allowances and subsidies

1. The standard amount for determining preferential allowances and subsidies for persons contributing to the revolution as stipulated in this Decree is 876,000 VND.

2. Attach to this Decree tables of preferential allowances and subsidies for each category of persons contributing to the revolution, including:

a) Table No. 1: preferential allowances and subsidies for persons contributing to the revolution;

b) Table No. 2: disability allowances for war invalids and persons treated as war invalids;

c) Table No. 3: disability allowances for war invalids type B.

Article 2. Implementation Funding

THE STATE BUDGET WILL ENSURE FUNDS FOR IMPLEMENTING THE SUBSIDY AND ALLOWANCE SYSTEM AS PROVIDED IN THIS DECREE.

Article 3. Effectiveness

1. This Decree shall take effect from August 15, 2011.

2. This Decree replaces Decree No. 35/2010/NĐ-CP dated April 6, 2010 of the Government regarding preferential allowances and subsidies for persons contributing to the revolution.

3. The preferential allowances and subsidies specified in this Decree shall be implemented from May 1, 2011.

Article 4. Responsibilities for Implementation

1. The Minister of Labor - Invalids and Social Affairs shall be responsible for guiding the implementation of this Decree.

2. Ministers, Heads of ministerial-level agencies, Heads of government-affiliated agencies, Chairpersons of provincial People's Committees directly under the central government shall be responsible for enforcing this Decree./.
