DECREE NO. 54-CP OF JUNE 28, 1994 ON THE DIVISION OF DONG VINH COMMUNE INTO DONG VINH WARD AND HUNG DONG COMMUNE, AND THE DIVISION OF PHU THANH COMMUNE INTO PHU THANH COMMUNE AND HONG THANH COMMUNE, IN VINH CITY AND YEN THANH DISTRICT, NGHE AN PROVINCE
THE GOVERNMENT
Pursuant to the Government Organization Law dated September 30, 1992;
Pursuant to the proposal of the Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government;
DECREE:
Article 1. - Now, the Dong Vinh Commune under Vinh City is divided into Dong Vinh Ward and Hung Dong Commune, and the Phu Thanh Commune under Yen Thanh District, Nghe An Province, is divided into Phu Thanh Commune and Hong Thanh Commune as follows::
1. The Dong Vinh Commune under Vinh City is divided into Dong Vinh Ward and Hung Dong Commune.
-Dong Vinh Ward has a natural area of 453.6 hectares and a population of 9,811.
The boundaries of Dong Vinh Ward: to the East, it borders Le Loi Ward and Doi Cuong Ward; to the West, it borders Hung Chinh Commune (Hung Nguan District); to the South, it borders Cua Nam Ward; to the North, it borders Hung Dong Commune.
-Hung Dong Commune has a natural area of 596.4 hectares and a population of 10,409.
The boundaries of Hung Dong Commune: to the East, it borders Huy Phu Commune and Ha Huy Tap Ward; to the West, it borders Hung Tay Commune (Hung Nguan District); to the South, it borders Dong Vinh Ward and Le Loi Ward; to the North, it borders Nghi Kim Commune (Nghi Loc District).
2. The Phu Thanh Commune under Yen Thanh District is divided into Phu Thanh Commune and Hong Thanh Commune.
-Phu Thanh Commune has a natural area of 840 hectares and a population of 7,200.
The boundaries of Phu Thanh Commune: to the East, it borders Dien Thai and Dien Lien Communes (Dien Chau District); to the West, it borders Lang Thanh and Hau Thanh Communes; to the South, it borders Hop Thanh and Van Thanh Communes; to the North, it borders Hong Thanh Commune.
-Hong Thanh Commune has a natural area of 703 hectares and a population of 6,873.
The boundaries of Hong Thanh Commune: to the East, it borders Dien Lien Commune (Dien Chau District); to the West, it borders Ma Thanh and Lang Thanh Communes; to the South, it borders Phu Thanh Commune; to the North, it borders Tho Thanh Commune.
Article 2. - This Decree takes effect from the date of signature, all previous regulations contrary to this Decree shall be abolished.
Article 3. - The Chairman of the People's Committee of Nghe An Province and the Minister, Head of the Organization-Cadre Department of the Government are responsible for implementing this Decree.
